What should I do if my pet dies at home?
If your pet dies at home, try to keep them as cool as possible and away from the outside elements until you are able to bring him/her to us or until we are able to make the removal. You can use a cooler, tote box or cardboard box as well. If you are able to put ice in the box that will also help. If you are not comfortable with keeping your pet at home after he or she has passed, then you can call your local 24 hour animal emergency clinic to see if they can assist you. Please keep in mind that we cannot vouch for the practices of other crematories or Veterinarian offices.

Why does Forever Remembered only perform private cremations?
We only perform private cremations because we hold to a higher standard of dignity and practice. We believe that every pet deserves the right of a private cremation. Even for those animals who are rescue pets and have not been given the option to have a loving home, we will still only perform private cremations.
-
What is the difference between PRIVATE cremation and INDIVIDUAL cremation?
Private cremation is when there is only ONE animal at a time placed in the chamber. Individual cremation is when several animals are placed on a sheet and there are dividers inbetween them. There is still commingling of cremains during this process which is why we do NOT perform these types of cremations.

Do I have to leave my pet at the vet after the euthanasia procedure?
As a pet owner, it is your decision to choose whether or not to leave your pet at the vet or to take your pet elsewhere for cremation.
-
What if I don’t want the cremains back?
We take the cremains and grow plants at our facility. We are always searching for ways to be environmentally friendly while memorializing each and every pet. If you drive by our facility, you will see that we are growing flowers and plants with cremains using a special soil mixture that encourages plant growth.
-
Can I come and see your facility?
Yes! We encourage pet owners to come and view our brand new facility and to see what we have to offer. We have an open door policy here at Forever Remembered and are always willing to give tours and provide information.
-
What if I am not sure what to do? What if I need more time?
Sometimes making the decision for your pet’s disposition is difficult. Busy schedules, travel and family commitments can often cause conflicts. We offer monthly cold storage for your pet until you are ready to make your decision. We have inexpensive storage and can make a plan to suit your needs.

What kinds of payment do you accept?
